Biography
Michele Clapton is a British costume designer whose credits include both film and television. She has worked in the industry since 1989.
Clapton is best known for designing costumes on Game of Thrones (2011–2019) and for the first season of The Crown (2016). She won Primetime Emmy Awards for Game of Thrones in 2012, 2014 and 2016, and a further Emmy for The Crown in 2017. She has also received BAFTA Television Craft Awards for The Devil's Whore (2008) and The Crown.
Her other credits include Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018), The King's Man (2021), The Nevers (2021–2023) and The Peripheral (2022).
