Biography
Michele Fazekas is a television writer and producer. She began her career as a producer's assistant on The X-Files before writing episodes of Get Real and Ed. She contributed as a writer and later producer to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit from 2001 onwards.
Fazekas co-founded the production company Fazekas & Butters with Tara Butters. Their credits include co-creating Reaper (2007) and serving as showrunners on Marvel's Agent Carter (2015). She has also written for Hawaii Five-0 (2010) and co-showrun Gen V (2023). In 2025 she became the first woman to serve as showrunner on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
