Biography
Michelle McGahey is an Australian production designer and art director. She began her career in the art department on Australian productions before working as an art director on Dark City (1998), The Matrix (1999), Mission: Impossible II (2000) and Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002).
As production designer her credits include Killer Elite (2011), I, Frankenstein (2014), 2:22 (2017), Blacklight (2022), True Spirit (2023), Eden (2024) and Spa Weekend (2026). Television work includes The Code (2014–2016) and Boy Swallows Universe (2024). She has received multiple APDG and AACTA awards and nominations for production design.
