Biography
Mike Epps is an American stand-up comedian and actor. Born Michael Elliot Epps on 18 November 1970 in Indianapolis, Indiana, he began performing stand-up as a teenager and appeared on Def Comedy Jam in the mid-1990s after moving to New York.
He is known for his film roles including Day-Day Jones in Next Friday (2000) and Friday After Next (2002), Black Doug in The Hangover (2009) and The Hangover Part III (2013), and L.J. Wayne in Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004) and Resident Evil: Extinction (2007). He has also appeared in television series such as The Sopranos (1999) and starred in sitcoms including The Upshaws.
Epps played O'Neil in the 2024 film Madame Web.
