Biography
Miles Anderson is a British stage and screen actor born in Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) on 23 October 1947. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, where he received the Ronson Award, and spent ten years with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
He is known for his television roles as Roger O'Neill in the 1990 BBC series House of Cards, Colonel Aidan Dempsey in Ultimate Force (2002–2008), and Colonel Dan Fortune in Soldier, Soldier (1991–1992). Film credits include Alistair in La La Land (2016) and Lennox in The Tragedy of Macbeth (2021). Anderson has also appeared in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Midsomer Murders, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Hunters.
