Biography
Mira McKinney, also credited as Myra McKinney, was an American actress. She appeared in over one hundred film and television roles, primarily in supporting or uncredited parts, between 1936 and 1957.
Her screen debut was as the Minister's Wife in Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times (1936). Other film credits include uncredited roles in Fury (1936), The Shop Around the Corner (1940), Captains Courageous (1937), The Mummy's Tomb (1942) and Fallen Angel (1945), as well as parts in Blazing Sixes (1937) and Women's Prison (1955). She also appeared in television series such as The Lone Ranger and The Gene Autry Show.
McKinney was born in New York City and died in Los Angeles in 1978. She was married to Edd X. Russell.
