Biography

Mitsuzō Miyata is a Japanese film editor. He worked on several films directed by Kenji Mizoguchi in the early 1950s, including Ugetsu (1953) and Sansho the Bailiff (1954).

His other editing credits from the period include A Geisha (1953), Miss Oyu (1951) and Anatahan (1953). He continued to edit Japanese feature films into the 1960s.
