Biography
Moritz Borman (1955–2026) was a German film producer active primarily in Hollywood. Born in Munich, he began his career in German television and commercials before moving to Los Angeles, where he attended the American Film Institute. His first credited feature as producer was John Huston’s Under the Volcano (1984).
Borman produced more than 25 feature films. He served as executive producer on Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) and producer on Terminator Salvation (2009). He collaborated repeatedly with Oliver Stone on Alexander (2004), World Trade Center (2006), W. (2008), Savages (2012) and Snowden (2016). Other credits include The Quiet American (2002) and The Wedding Planner (2001). He died in Munich on 1 July 2026.
