Biography
Myriem Akheddiou is a Belgian stage and film actress. Born in Brussels, she studied at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and began working in theatre.
She has collaborated with directors Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne on several films, including The Kid with a Bike (2011), Two Days, One Night (2014) as Mireille, The Unknown Girl (2016) and Young Ahmed (2019). Other credits include A Happy Event (2011), The Connection (2014), The Benefit of the Doubt (2017) and Titane (2021).
Akheddiou received a Magritte Award nomination for Most Promising Actress for The Benefit of the Doubt and won the award for Best Supporting Actress for Young Ahmed.
