Biography
Nancy Linehan Charles is an American character actress of film, television and theatre. Born in New York City on 11 December 1942, she has worked on screen since the 1990s and appeared in more than seventy films and television programmes as well as numerous stage productions.
Her film credits include Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) as the Older Woman, Minority Report (2002) as Celeste Burgess, Charlie Wilson's War (2007) as Mrs Long, The Stepfather (2009) as Mrs Cutter and Coyote vs. Acme (2026) as Cherry. On television she has recurring roles including Peg in Young Sheldon (2017–2024) and has appeared in series such as Criminal Minds, Grimm, Shameless and NCIS. She is the mother of actor Will Rothhaar.
