Biography
Nate Heller is an American composer and actor. Born on 19 September 1982 in Alameda County, California, he began his career touring with the band Wendy Darling before moving into film scoring.
Heller has composed the scores for all four feature films directed by his sister Marielle Heller: The Diary of a Teenage Girl (2015), Can You Ever Forgive Me? (2018), A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019) and Nightbitch (2024). He also appeared as the Book Babies Leader in the latter. His work on A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood earned a Grammy nomination and a BMI Award.
