Biography
Nathan Larson is an American film composer, guitarist, singer and songwriter. He came to prominence in the 1990s as lead guitarist with the rock band Shudder to Think and later worked on numerous film scores, beginning with contributions to High Art (1998) before scoring Boys Don't Cry (1999) as his first solo project.
His film credits include Tigerland (2000), Lilja 4-ever (2002), Dirty Pretty Things (2003), The Woodsman (2004), Margin Call (2011), Our Idiot Brother (2011), The Skeleton Twins (2014), A Walk in the Woods (2015) and Juliet, Naked (2018). He has also composed for television series including Vinyl and Show Me a Hero.
Larson is married to singer Nina Persson of The Cardigans, with whom he has collaborated on several projects. He has published novels including The Dewey Decimal System (2011).
