Biography

Naveen Andrews is a British actor. He was born Naveen William Sidney Andrews on 17 January 1969 in London and trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

He made his screen debut in London Kills Me (1991) and appeared in the BBC miniseries The Buddha of Suburbia (1993). Andrews portrayed Kip Singh in the film The English Patient (1996) and Sayid Jarrah in the television series Lost (2004–2010). His other film roles include Mighty Joe Young (1998), Rollerball (2002), Planet Terror (2007) and Diana (2013).

For Lost, Andrews received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations and shared a Screen Actors Guild Award for outstanding ensemble performance in a drama series.
