Biography
Neal Edelstein is an American film producer. He was born in Winnetka, Illinois, and began his career in Los Angeles in the early 1990s.
In 1997 he produced David Lynch’s segment for the French anthology film Lumière and Company. He went on to produce Lynch’s The Straight Story (1999) and Mulholland Drive (2001). With partner Mike Macari he formed Macari/Edelstein Filmed Entertainment; their first project was the American remake of The Ring (2002), on which he served as co-executive producer, followed by the sequel The Ring Two (2005). Other credits include The Invisible (2007), Amusement (2008), 6 Souls (2010), Fractured (2019) and Southern Gospel (2023).
