Biography
Nicola Giuliano is an Italian film and television producer. Born on 1 February 1966 in Naples, he co-founded the production company Indigo Film in 1994 with Francesca Cima and Carlotta Calori. He trained at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome.
Giuliano has produced numerous films directed by Paolo Sorrentino, beginning with One Man Up (2001) and including The Consequences of Love (2004), Il Divo (2008), This Must Be the Place (2011), The Great Beauty (2013) and Youth (2015). The Great Beauty won the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film, as well as several David di Donatello awards for best producer shared with Cima.
He has also produced other features such as The Girl by the Lake (2007) and The Invisible Boy (2014), and television series including The Bad Guy (2022–). Giuliano is married to screenwriter Ludovica Rampoldi.
