Biography
Nikki M. James is an American actress, director and singer. She was born on 3 June 1981 in Summit, New Jersey.
James trained at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. On stage she originated the role of Nabulungi in the Broadway musical The Book of Mormon (2011), for which she received the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. Other Broadway credits include The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (2001), All Shook Up, Les Misérables and Suffs.
Her screen work includes recurring roles in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Good Wife, The Good Fight, Severance (as Alexa) and Daredevil: Born Again (as Kirsten McDuffie).
