Biography
Nora Kay Foster, also credited as Kay Foster, is a television writer and producer. She frequently collaborates with writing partner Adam Armus. Born in Los Angeles, California, she met Armus in a screenwriting class at UCLA and they began their professional partnership there.
Foster and Armus wrote multiple episodes of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995) and Xena: Warrior Princess (1995), including the Xena episodes "Chariots of War", "Death in Chains" and "Ties That Bind". She later contributed to The Practice, Birds of Prey and other series. On Heroes (2006–2010) she worked as writer, supervising producer, co-executive producer and executive producer. She created American Odyssey (2015) with Armus.
Foster received Primetime Emmy and Writers Guild of America award nominations for her work on Heroes.
