Biography
Oli Russell is a British cinematographer, also credited early in his career as Oliver Russell. He works primarily in television drama and comedy as director of photography.
His credits include the feature film Nina Forever (2015), the Netflix series Sex Education (2019–2021, for which he received a BAFTA Television Craft Award nomination for Photography and Lighting: Fiction), The Gold (2023), Derry Girls, Riches (2022) and Renegade Nell (2024). He is a member of the British Society of Cinematographers.
