Biography

Oliver Bokelberg is a German cinematographer and member of the American Society of Cinematographers. He was born in Hamburg on 21 December 1964 and studied film and television at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University from 1985 to 1988.

After graduation he worked on music videos, commercials and documentaries before making his feature debut in 1996. His cinematography credits include The Station Agent (2003), The Visitor (2007), Win Win (2011) and The Bounty Hunter (2010). He has also worked extensively in television, serving as director of photography on Scandal (2012–2018).

Bokelberg joined the ASC in 2012 and is also a member of the Berufsverband Kinematografie.
