Biography
Geary McLeod is an American director and cinematographer. Born in Boston, he worked in camera departments on feature films before serving as director of photography on the CBS series The Mentalist for its first six seasons. He also directed five episodes of the series, including part one of the two-part finale.
McLeod has directed episodes of many episodic series, including five of Grey's Anatomy (2015–2019), as well as Empire, NCIS: New Orleans, Bull, DC's Stargirl, The Resident and others. He is a member of the Directors Guild of America, the American Society of Cinematographers and IATSE Local 600, and serves on the Directors Guild African American Steering Committee.
