Biography

Pablo Schreiber is a Canadian-American actor. Born on 26 April 1978 in Ymir, British Columbia, he holds dual citizenship and trained at Carnegie Mellon University, where he earned a BFA.

He is known for stage work, including a Tony Award nomination for his Broadway debut in the 2006 revival of Awake and Sing!. Television roles include Nick Sobotka in The Wire (2002–2008), William Lewis in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2013–2014), George 'Pornstache' Mendez in Orange Is the New Black (2013–2017), for which he received a Primetime Emmy nomination, Mad Sweeney in American Gods (2017–2021) and Master Chief in Halo (2022–2024). Film credits include 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi (2016), Den of Thieves (2018) and Skyscraper (2018). He plays Richard Jones in the 2026 Netflix series His & Hers.
