Biography
Pablo Zumárraga is a Spanish film and television editor. He trained for two years at CEV Madrid and began working in 1991 at the independent television production company Video Spot, where he gained experience with early Avid editing systems.
His early credits include assistant editing on films such as Salto al vacío (1995), Muerte en Granada (1996), Yoyes (1999) and Imagining Argentina (2003). He edited the documentary Escenario móvil (2004) and feature films including Sabotage! (2000). Zumárraga edited both parts of Steven Soderbergh’s Che (2008). He has worked extensively in television on series including Hispania, la leyenda (2010–2012), Gran Hotel (2012–2013) and The Head (2020–2022).
Zumárraga edited You Shall Not Sleep (2018), for which he received the Biznaga de Plata for best editing at the Málaga Film Festival in 2018. Other recent credits include Lost & Found (2022).
