Biography

Patrice Ledoux is a French film producer. He served as general director of Gaumont from 1985 to 2004 and subsequently founded Pulsar Productions.

He has frequently collaborated with director Luc Besson. His producing credits include The Big Blue (1988), Nikita (1990), Léon: The Professional (1994), The Fifth Element (1997), The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc (1999), The Closet (2001) and Just Visiting (2001). He was nominated for a BAFTA Award for the non-English language film category for Carmen (1984).

Ledoux received the distinction of Officier des Arts et des Lettres in 2021.
