Biography
Patrick Massett is an American screenwriter and producer. Born on 6 March 1962, he began his career as an actor, with early roles including the Klingon character Duras in Star Trek: The Next Generation.
He frequently collaborates with writing partner John Zinman. Massett joined the crew of the NBC series Friday Night Lights (2006–2011) as a writer and consulting producer, later serving as co-executive producer; he received Writers Guild of America Award nominations for his work on the series. His other credits include the screenplay for Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), writing and producing on Caprica (2010), The Blacklist (2013), Gold (2016) and Last Light (2022).
