Biography
Paul Brizzi is a French animator, director and illustrator. Born on 24 December 1951 in Paris, he studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs and began his career in animation in France during the 1970s and 1980s.
He frequently collaborates with his twin brother Gaëtan Brizzi. Their credits include directing the "Firebird Suite" segment of Fantasia 2000 (2000), on which they also worked as story artists and contributed to production design. Brizzi provided the story for Tarzan (1999) and has worked on projects including The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996), Asterix vs. Caesar (1985) and Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet (2014).
