Biography

Paul Cripps is a British production designer and art director. He grew up in Woodstock, near Oxford, and studied theatre design at Wimbledon School of Art before completing a master's in film and television design at the Royal College of Art. He began his career art directing entertainment programmes such as TFI Friday and The Brits, later moving into drama and beginning his work as a production designer on the Channel 4 series As If.

Cripps has worked as production designer on series including The Missing (2014), Skins and Ted Lasso (2020). He has also contributed art direction to films such as 24 Hour Party People (2002) and Never Let Me Go (2010). He received three Primetime Emmy nominations for outstanding production design on Ted Lasso.
