Biography
Paul Hardwick was an English actor born on 15 November 1918 in Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire. He died in London on 22 October 1983.
Hardwick had an extensive stage career that included Shakespearean roles with the Royal Shakespeare Company. On screen he played Lord Capulet in Franco Zeffirelli’s Romeo and Juliet (1968), the Soviet Chairman in Octopussy (1983), a courtier in A Man for All Seasons (1966) and supporting parts in A Night to Remember (1958) and Julius Caesar (1970). Television appearances included episodes of The Avengers and The Professionals.
