Biography
Paul Hilton is an English actor who works in theatre, radio, television and film. He was born in Oldham, Lancashire, in 1970 and trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.
His television credits include David Holmes in the 2018 series A Very English Scandal, Robert Miller in Grantchester (2014), Robert Hobden in Slow Horses (2022) and Michael Straight in The Crown (2019). Film roles encompass Alexander Lester in Lady Macbeth (2016), Mr Earnshaw in Wuthering Heights (2011) and Browning in the 2026 film Wasteman. He is also known for stage work, including the title role in a National Theatre Live production of Peter Pan (2017) and E. M. Forster in The Inheritance.
