Biography
Paul Stevens (1921–1986) was an American film and television actor. He appeared in films including Exodus (1960), Advise & Consent (1962), Patton (1970) as Lieutenant Colonel Charles R. Codman, and Battle for the Planet of the Apes (1973) as Mendez.
Stevens began his career on the Broadway stage in productions such as The Merchant of Venice (1953), Compulsion (1957) and The Advocate (1963). His television work included guest roles in series such as Mission: Impossible, Hawaii Five-O, The Rockford Files and Gunsmoke, as well as a long-running part as Brian Bancroft in the soap opera Another World (1977–1985). He died of pneumonia in New York City.
