Biography
Pen Densham (born 14 October 1947) is a British-Canadian film and television producer, writer and director. Born in Ruislip, Middlesex, England, he left school at 15 and moved to Canada at 19, where he became a Canadian citizen. With John Watson he co-founded the Toronto production company Insight Productions; the pair later established Trilogy Entertainment Group in Hollywood.
Densham wrote the story for and co-wrote the screenplay of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991), which he also produced. He produced Backdraft (1991) and Blown Away (1994), and wrote, produced and directed Moll Flanders (1996). He revived the television series The Outer Limits (1995–2002) and The Twilight Zone (2002–2003) as executive producer. Earlier short films earned him two Academy Award nominations.
