Biography
Pernell Walker is an American actress. Born on 19 September 1980 in the Bronx, New York, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from City College and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School.
Walker first appeared in film as Laura in Pariah (2011), directed by Dee Rees. Her television roles include Ruby "Thunder Thighs" in The Deuce (2017–2019), Grace Campbell in City on a Hill (2021–2022), Gina Smith in When They See Us (2019), and the SRO Clerk in RIPLEY (2024). She has also appeared in The Butler (2013) and The Equalizer (2021).
