Biography
Peter Fincham is a British television producer and executive. Born on 26 July 1956, he was educated at Tonbridge School and Churchill College, Cambridge, where he participated in the Footlights.
He joined TalkBack Productions in 1985 as a producer and rose to become managing director in 1986 and chief executive in 2003. His executive producer credits include The Day Today (1994), Knowing Me Knowing You with Alan Partridge (1994), I'm Alan Partridge (1997), Never Mind the Buzzcocks (1996), Brass Eye (1997), Ali G Indahouse (2002) and Green Wing (2004). He later served as controller of BBC One from 2005 to 2007 and director of television at ITV from 2008 to 2016.
