Biography

Philip Kloss is a British film and television editor. He began his career in the 1980s at the BBC Film Department at Ealing Film Studios, working alongside directors including John Schlesinger, Richard Eyre and Stephen Poliakoff. He has more than thirty years' experience as a freelance editor based in London.

Kloss has edited episodes of Lovejoy (1986), Torchwood (2006), Doctor Who (2005–2010), Little Dorrit (2008), House of Saddam (2008), Daniel Deronda (2002) and An Adventure in Space and Time (2013). His other credits include additional editing on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts I and II (2010–2011), The Alienist (2018), The Night Watch (2011) and the documentary Stop at Nothing: The Lance Armstrong Story (2014).

He is a BAFTA and RTS award winner, including a BAFTA for editing Doctor Who episodes "Midnight" and "The Doctor's Daughter".
