Biography

Queenie Leonard (born Pearl Walker) was a British actress and singer. She began performing on stage at the age of 14 alongside her father and appeared in British revues and cabaret before making her film debut in 1931. She moved to Hollywood in 1941 and appeared in more than 30 films, often in supporting roles.

She provided voices for Disney animated films, including the Bird in the Tree in Alice in Wonderland (1951) and Princess in One Hundred and One Dalmatians (1961). Her other notable credits include And Then There Were None (1945), The Lodger (1944) and The Narrow Margin (1952). She also appeared in television series such as Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie. Leonard retired in 1968 and was the last surviving cast member of And Then There Were None at the time of her death.
