Biography
Rachael Horovitz is an American film and television producer. She began her career in publicity at Dino De Laurentiis Productions before working as a studio executive at Fine Line Features, New Line and Revolution Studios. She later founded her own company, Specialty Films.
Horovitz is known for producing Moneyball (2011), for which she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture. Her other credits include executive producing the HBO film Grey Gardens (2009), which won her an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe and the Producers Guild of America’s David Wolper Producer of the Year Award, and executive producing the miniseries Patrick Melrose (2018). Earlier work encompasses executive producing About Schmidt (2002) and co-producing State and Main (2000) and Next Stop Wonderland (1998).
