Biography
Rachel Blanchard is a Canadian actress. Born on 19 March 1976 in Toronto, Ontario, she began her career as a child with a McDonald's commercial and a role as Melanie Schlegel in the Canadian series The Kids of Degrassi Street. She later appeared in Are You Afraid of the Dark? as Kristen and in War of the Worlds.
Blanchard played Cher Horowitz in the television series Clueless (1996–1999) and Roxanne Richardson in 7th Heaven (2002–2004). She appeared as Nancy, the American girlfriend of Jeremy Usborne, in the British sitcom Peep Show (2004–2007), reprising the role in series 4.
Her other television work includes Sally in Flight of the Conchords, Kitty Nygaard in the first season of Fargo (2014), Emma Trakarsky in You Me Her (2016–2020) and Susannah Fisher in The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022–). She won a Gemini Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance in Call Me Fitz. Film credits include Road Trip (2000), Without a Paddle (2004) and Snakes on a Plane (2006).
