Biography
Ray Cooke (1905–1963) was an American actor who appeared in over 100 films, predominantly in uncredited supporting roles during the late 1920s to the early 1950s.
Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he made his screen debut in the sound era with a role as a bellhop in The Broadway Melody (1929). He had small parts in major productions such as It Happened One Night (1934), The Roaring Twenties (1939), Stranger on the Third Floor (1940) and Sergeant York (1941). He also featured in several short films, including entries in the Torchy series, and received a credited role as Danny Nolan in Taxi (1931).
Cooke died in Los Angeles, California.
