Biography
Rebecca Gethings is a British actress. Born in Alberta, Canada, she was raised in Berkshire, England, and trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art.
She is known for comedy roles including Lizzie in Extras (2005), Helen Hatley in The Thick of It (2012) and Miriam Clarke in David Brent: Life on the Road (2016). She appeared as a Hot Room Technician in Casino Royale (2006) and has provided voices for Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget (2023) and Scrooge: A Christmas Carol (2022). Since 2023 she has played Sister Veronica in the BBC series Call the Midwife.
