Biography
Renato Scarpa was an Italian actor. He was born on 14 September 1939 in Milan and died on 30 December 2021 in Rome.
Scarpa appeared in numerous films from 1969 onwards. His credits include Inspector Longhi in Don't Look Now (1973), Prof. Verdegast in Suspiria (1977), the tailor in The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), Arturo the Tailor in The Tourist (2010), Cardinal Gregori in We Have a Pope (2011), the barber in Tale of Tales (2015), the Camerlengo in The Two Popes (2019), and Emilio in Per tutta la vita (2021).
