Biography
Richard Bloom is a production designer working in film and television. Based in Los Angeles, he spent many years in the art department before moving into production design.
His earlier credits include art direction or coordination on Thor (2011), Donnie Darko (2001), Men in Black II (2002), Men in Black 3 (2012), War for the Planet of the Apes (2017), Bullet Train (2022), Bumblebee (2018), The Matrix Resurrections (2021) and True Detective (2014). He served as production designer on Briarpatch (2019–2020), his first series in the role.
Bloom has since designed the series Welcome to Chippendales (2022–2023), Hunters (2023), Goodrich (2024) and Margo's Got Money Troubles (2026).
