Biography
Richard LeParmentier (1946–2013) was an American actor who lived and worked primarily in the United Kingdom. He is credited under several variations of his name, including Richard Parmentier.
He appeared in films including Rollerball (1975), Star Wars (1977) as Admiral Motti, Superman II (1980) as a reporter, Octopussy (1983) and Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) as Lt. Santino. He had a minor role in Superman II alongside his then-wife, actress Sarah Douglas. His last screen acting role was in 1992.
From 1988 he focused largely on writing and producing. He wrote for British television series including The Bill and Boon, with writing partner Paddy Fletcher.
