Biography
Richard Reed Parry is a Canadian composer and multi-instrumentalist. Born on 4 October 1977 in Ottawa, Ontario, he is a core member of the indie rock band Arcade Fire, with whom he has contributed to film scores including that for Her (2013).
As a solo composer, Parry has scored The Nest (2020), Eileen (2023) and The Iron Claw (2023). He has also composed chamber and orchestral works performed by ensembles including Kronos Quartet and the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony.
