Biography
Richard Steven Horvitz is an American actor and voice actor. He began his career as a child performer in stage productions, including the musical Oliver!, and appeared in commercials and television series such as Safe at Home (1985). He studied at UCLA and had early live-action roles in films including Summer School (1987).
Horvitz is best known for his extensive voice work in animation and video games. His credits include Alpha 5 in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and its sequels, Zim in Invader Zim, Billy in The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Daggett in The Angry Beavers, Grey Matter in Ben 10, and additional voices in Mulan (1998). He has also appeared in live-action films such as The Informant! (2009) as Bob Zaiderman and Crazy, Stupid, Love. (2011).
He is married to playwright Kristen Lazarian and has three children. His brother is television director Louis J. Horvitz.
