Biography
Rick Eid is a writer and producer known for his work in American television drama. He began his career as a corporate attorney specialising in mergers and acquisitions before moving into television.
Eid has written and produced extensively on the Law & Order franchise, including the original series, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Law & Order: Trial by Jury. He has served as showrunner on SVU (season 18), Chicago P.D. (from season 5) and the revival of Law & Order (season 21). Other credits include executive producer and writer roles on FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, FBI: International, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and The Guardian.
