Biography
Rick Jacobson is an American film and television director, producer and writer. He graduated from the California Institute of the Arts film and television programme and began his career directing the feature film Full Contact for producer Roger Corman.
Jacobson has directed episodes of the series Xena: Warrior Princess (1995), Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995), Baywatch, Spartacus (2010), Ash vs Evil Dead (2015), Knightfall (2017) and Dominion (2014). He also directed the feature films Bitch Slap (2009) and The Royal Treatment (2022), and served as executive producer and director on Spartacus: House of Ashur (2025). He has directed and produced over 100 television episodes.
