Biography

Robert E. Collins was an American cinematographer who worked in film and television from the early 1970s until the mid-2000s. He was credited on the series Kojak (1973) and contributed to feature films including Schlock (1973), The Kentucky Fried Movie (1977) and additional photography on Superman (1978).

Collins served as director of photography on episodes of Miami Vice (1984) and the series Dinosaurs (1991), and on segments of Moonwalker (1988). He also worked on Octopussy (1983) and received two Primetime Emmy Awards.
