Biography
Robert Harron, also credited as Bobby Harron and Robert Emmett Harron, was an American actor of the early silent film era. Born in New York City on 12 April 1893, he began working at the Biograph studio around 1907 as a gofer and bit player before taking on larger roles.
He appeared in scores of films, most notably those directed by D.W. Griffith. Harron played Tod in The Birth of a Nation (1915) and The Boy in the modern story of Intolerance (1916). Other credits include True Heart Susie (1919) as William Jenkins.
He was the older brother of actors John Harron and Mary Harron. Harron died in Manhattan, New York City, on 5 September 1920.
