Biography
Robyn Malcolm is a New Zealand actor born in 1965 in Ashburton. She graduated from Toi Whakaari New Zealand Drama School in 1987 and began her career in theatre before moving into television.
She first gained recognition as nurse Ellen Crozier in the soap opera Shortland Street. Malcolm is best known for her role as Cheryl West in the series Outrageous Fortune (2005–2010). She played Anita in Jane Campion’s Top of the Lake (2013) and has appeared in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) as Morwen, Hostiles (2017), Sweet Tooth (2021) and Black Bird (2022). She has also worked in Australian series including Rake and Upper Middle Bogan.
