Biography

Robyn Slovo is a South African film producer based in the United Kingdom. Her credits include Morvern Callar (2002), Catch a Fire (2006), Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011), The Two Faces of January (2014) and The Snowman (2017).

She began her career in theatre before working as a script editor and development executive at the BBC. She has produced films for Company Pictures and Working Title Films.

Slovo is the daughter of anti-apartheid activists Joe Slovo and Ruth First, and the sister of screenwriter Shawn Slovo and novelist Gillian Slovo. She appeared as her mother in Catch a Fire.
