Biography
Rod E. Geiger (1915–2000) was an American film producer. While serving as a US soldier in Italy during the Second World War, he assisted with the production of Roberto Rossellini's Rome, Open City (1945) by obtaining film stock and later helped arrange its distribution in the United States.
He received a producer credit on Rossellini's Paisan (1946), for which he also contributed to the screenplay, and produced Give Us This Day (1949). Geiger later lived in Sweden, where he died in Tollarp.
